We have come across an awesome local resource for the Grants Pass area called "Macaroni Kid". The best part is it has been created by a local mom and it's free to subscribe!  Here is a little more info for those of you that may be interested in checking it out, (we have also posted a link to her site at the bottom of our blog):

What is Macaroni Kid?
Grants Pass Macaroni Kid brings a valuable service to moms, dads, and care providers of Grants Pass and area: a comprehensive weekly e-newsletter and website dedicated to delivering the 411 on all family-friendly events and activities for kids and their families in our community! In addition to fun things to do, Macaroni Kid features crafts, giveaways, reviews, and musings on parenthood and life in the Josephine County area.

Funny Photo Contest Fundraiser

This year, we are teaming up with Josephine Community Libraries for a fundraiser to benefit their children’s programs.  We are holding a Funny Photo Contest and are looking for submissions of funny, yet tasteful, photos or prints to be put on display.  Please click on the 2011 Funny Photo Contest/Fundraiser tab for full details and as always don't hestitate to contact us with any questions!

Exciting stuff going on for our May Meeting!!

If you haven't been to sure about coming to check out our MOMS Club, now is the time! Since our May meeting is right before Mother's Day we are having a special early celebration and would love to have you join us!! 

We are very excited to have Vicki from Kindermusik coming to do a special presentation/demonstration with the kiddos.  "With more than 25 years experience in early childhood development, Kindermusik is the world's most trusted name in musical learning. Music stimulates the brain, forging neural pathways in all domains of learning:  cognitive, emotional, social and physical. Your child's entire brain is involved when he or she participates in music and movement activities. Our teachers at Great Northwest Music have not only been trained and licensed by Kindermusik, but also have degrees in Early Childhood Education, making them the most ideal teachers for the young child."

We will also be holding a "Pampered Momma" drawing where one newbie/visitor and one current member will be going home with a pampering prize, and we will have snacks available for everyone.

Special Speakers Coming To Our February Meeting!!

We are thrilled to have 2 speakers from the Grants Pass Library at our next meeting coming up on February 4th.  Janet Griffin and Paula Ehrenberg, co-managers of the children's library will be joining us to talk about a new baby program they are going to be starting.  Make sure to contact us for more details!
